May 15 Lucas: Piano Teacher in Barnes, SW13, London

Our piano teacher Lucas, in Barnes, offers classical piano lessons for ages 11 and above, from intermediate to very advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Lucas has been teaching piano lessons since 2014. Lucas gave his debut recital at Carnegie Hall’s Isaac Stern Auditorium in 2018. During the same season, he performed a special recital at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. He has recently performed in London at Wigmore Hall and Royal Albert Hall, in Paris at Salle Cortot, at Teatro La Fenice in Venice, La Verdi in Milan, and Merkin Hall in New York. His recent philharmonic appearances in his homeland of Poland include Warsaw Philharmonic, NOSPR Great Hall in Katowice, and Cracow Philharmonic. Lucas has appeared with world-renowned conductors and performed with leading orchestras, including Orchestra of the Americas, George Enescu National Philharmonic Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic, Sinfonia Varsovia, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Lucas is the winner of the 7th San Marino International Piano Competition and all of its contest prizes- the Audience Award, the Music Critics’ Award, and the Orchestra Award. He was a finalist at the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano, and has won first prizes at international piano competitions including Chopin Geselschaft, ClaviCologne, MeetingPoint Music Messiaen, and Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe. As a semi-finalist, he ranked among the best twenty pianists at the 17th Frederic Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw. His debut album Espressione was nominated for the International Classical Music Awards and received excellent press reviews in publications around the world. His recordings have been featured on numerous international radio stations, including BBC Radio 3, WQXR in New York, ABC Australia, Polish Radio 2 and CBC Music in Canada. In his capacity as an advanced piano teacher, Lucas adeptly guides his students through intricate compositions, nurturing their technical prowess and musicality to unleash the full extent of their artistic potential.
