Most recently, this has taken him into the festival circuit, headlining the main stage at First Light Festival, and performing on the Alcove stage at the Latitude Festival. Age 16, the same year he achieved his distinction in Grade 8 classical piano, Miles applied for the BBC Proms Young Composer Competition, submitting his big band piece "Song for Terry,” which was awarded Highly Commended by the panel of judges. Since then, Miles has composed and arranged commercially, as well as written for himself. He is also a singer-song writer, performing his solo songs at bars and venues in and around London. He is a comprehensive teacher, with expert knowledge across all disciplines within piano. Miles personally enjoys tailoring lessons to fit whatever goals or aims the student may have for themselves as a piano player and musician.
